WMU "seeks to equip adults, youth, children and preschooloers with missions education to become radically involved in the mission of God." Through participation in this, we are made aware of what our Southern Baptist missionaries are doing: locally, in the United States, as well as all over the world. Headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., WMU is a non-profit organization that offers an array of missions resources and ministries such as Janie Chapman State Missions Offering, the Lottie Moon Offering for International Missions collected at Christmas time, and the Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missions collected during the Easter season. WMU provides original and thought provoking messages and presentations during a missions offering season. Special missionary guests are often invited to share their work with Immanuel.
