We have begun a new deacon ministry that we believe will help us to better minister to the needs of our congregation. Our deacons will be divided into 5 ministry teams, each with their own areas of responsibility.
Nursing Home Team:
This team is responsible for ministering to those members of our church family residing in assisted living facilities or nursing homes. Team members are Brent Baker and Darrell Reid.
Shut-in/Homebound Team:
This team is responsible for ministering to those members of our church family who are homebound. Team members are Jesse Strickland and Josh Beckham.
Hospital Team:
This team is responsible for ministering to members of our church family who are hospitalized. Team members are Joe Keenan and Mike Montgomery.
New Member Team:
This team will assist new members in the process of becoming a vital and active part of the church. Team members are Charles Williams and Eldridge Emory.
Visitation/Outreach Team:
This team will lead our church in an outreach ministry to the unsaved and those who have become inactive in church life. They will seek to involve the congregation in an ongoing visitation ministry. Team members are D. V. Lewis and Rob Emory.
